Nice colors and finish on the boat. I can see why the ages are 8 and up, the propellers are small but there are replacement props included in the package! Nice box, would make a really pretty gift.Comprehensive instruction manual and warning pamphlet about battery safety. Never plug these rechargeable batteries in unattended due to rare but serious risk of fires.The controller is very well designed to fit your hand. The throttle is a nicely placed trigger and the wheel for turning is located on the right side of the control, good for right handed kids but not so much for my left handed nephew. But kids adjust and being able to use both hands for tasks is always a good thing.I will update this when we get it going in the water. So far 5 out of 5 stars for excellent quality.UPDATE 5/6/24 - OM Gosh is this little boat fast. My six year old nephew said this is the fastest boat I have ever seen. He has to fight Grandpa to play with the RC Boat, it's really fun. They have bumped it into the side of the pool a few times and it is very durable, just bounces back and keeps going. I'd still rate this 5 out of 5 stars. I uploaded a video to show it in action.
